الحوار بين الأديان ممكن أو غير ممكن؟ ماذا عن الحقوق والحريات الدينية؟ لأول مرة نستضيف شيخا مسلما عبر الهاتف وراعي مسيحي في الأستوديو للحديث عن الحوار بين الأديان، حلقة مفاجئة للجميع بما تحمله من آراء جريئة

حافز هذا القرار هو وجود جرائم الكراهية باسم الدين.
·تقرر الإعلان عن هذا القرار الوثيقة، بعد أن صيغت كلماته بشكل يعبّر عما اتفق عليه شفوياً، زعماء روحيون، من مختلف الاتجاهات الدينية.
·هذا القرار، هو خلاصة لتصريحات عامة مختلفة، صدرت عن هؤلاء الزعماء هنا وهناك، وقد قررنا وضعها في صيغة مكتوبة واضحة كي تقودنا إلى تحمّل مسؤولية ما نقول.
·إن المجتمع الديني في العالم أجمع، لم يعد يقبل بتسييس حقوق الإنسان الممنوحة من الله والتي تتمثل أهمها في حرية الاعتقاد والعيش بسلام على هذه الأرض.
·لذلك، فإن مساندة هذا القرار، سيعزز الاحترام والتسامح بين أتباع الديانات المختلفة وحرية الاعتقاد والتعبير، ليصل بنا إلى وضع نهاية لأعمال الانتقام والاضطهاد.
·هذا القرار، يدعو جميع المسؤولين الدينيين والزعماء السياسيين لتحمّل مسؤولية كل كلمة من كلماتهم التي يتحدثون فيها عن رغبتهم بالعمل من أجل السلام.
·انطلاقاً من ذلك، فإننا نعلن هنا، أن الجواب الوحيد للخلافاتالدينية، يكمن في الحوار المبني على الاحترام المتبادل بين اتباعها، وليس في اللجوء إلى العنف.
·هذا القرار لا يسعى أن يكون قراراً سياسياً أو مسكونياً ولا يهدف لتغيير معتقدات، أو مقارنات، أو تفسيرات، كذلك فإنّ هذا القرار لا يتضمن أي توجهات عنصرية أو وطنية.
نحن الموقعين نقرر ما يلي:
1.ندرك بأنّ هناك متطرفين بين أتباع كل دين من الأديان.
2.ونقرّ بأنّ اللجوء إلى العنف لتأكيد وجهة نظر دينية أو لإجبار آخرين على اعتناقها هو أمر مرفوض بتاتاً.
3.كممثلين عن جميع الأديان في العالم،مشتركين معاًفي إنسانية واحدة وبإيماننا الشخصي بخالقنا، نتفق هنا على تقديس حق كل فرد في الإيمان بخالقه.
4.لذلك فإننا نقر بوجوب احترام حقوق جميع الأفراد الممنوحة من قبل الخالق وبأنها غير قابلة للتبديل.
5.نؤمن بأن لجميع الأفراد أو الجماعات من مختلف الديانات، الحق في أن يعرضوا بشكل سلمي على الآخرين نظرتهم الخاصة بالأمور اللاهوتية أو الإنسانية أو الحياة الآخرة.
6.لجميع الناس من كل المؤسسات الدينية، الحق في الإعلان عن معتقداتهم وفي مناقشتها في أي مكان عام وبعيداً عن العنف.
7.نؤمن بحق كل فرد في الإيمان بأي دين يشاء.
8.لكل إنسان، رجلاً كان أو امرأة، حق مقدس، في اعتناق أو رفض اعتناق دين من الأديان دون التعرّض لأذىً من قبل أي جهة دينية أو سياسية.
9.نقر بأنه لا يحق لأي جهة دينية أو سياسية أن تتدخل في الخدمات الروحية لأتباع أي دين.
10.لكل فرد الحق في مناقشة حقائق دينه دون خوف من انتقام.
11.لكل فرد الحق في أن يستمع إلى غيره أو أن يُسمِعَ الآخرين صوته. لكل إنسان في العالم الحق في تعلّم حقائق دينه والحصول على كتبه المقدسة.
12.لكل إنسان بغض النظر عن انتمائه الديني أو العرقي أو الوطني، الحق في أن يعيش بسلام مع جيرانه مهما كان معتقدهم.
13.لكل فرد من أي دين الحق في أن يستمع إلى فرد آخر.
14.لا يحق لأحد التدخّل أو في تعطيل خدمة روحية لغيره.
15.لكلّ ساعٍ وراء المعرفة الحق في الذهاب إلى أية خدمة دينية لإرضاء معرفته.
16.لكل إنسان الحق في أن يُشارك الآخرين في معرفته.
17.وبناء على ذلك، فإننا نصر على أنّ لأتباع جميع الأديان حقاً مقدساً في أن يُشركوا الآخرين في معرفتهم وأن يعيشوا بسلام مع حصيلة هذه المعرفة.

The resolution puts in writing what leaders from all walks of religious beliefs have given verbal assent to.
This resolution codifies the public statements into a form that can hold us all accountable for our words.
The religious community of the world can no longer allow the politicalization of our God given right to believe and live in peace.
Therefore, this resolution will foster religious tolerance, the right to faith, freedom of speech, and freedom from reprisal or persecution.
We therefore hold all religious and political leaders to their words of peace.
We agree that the answer to religious disagreements is dialogue and/or debate without violence, or violent responses.
This resolution does not seek to be political nor ecumenical. It does not intend to convert or compare nor interpret religions. It is not racially or nationally oriented.
We Resolve that:
I.
We understand that there are extremes in every religion.
II.
We therefore agree that violence of any kind to exercise a religious point or to cause conversion is unacceptable.
III.
Representatives from religions throughout the world that are connected by our common humanity and personal belief in their creator, hereby resolve to honor, respect, and acknowledge every individual's right to their faith in the creator.
IV.
Therefore, we resolve that the inalienable rights of all individuals shall be respected.
V.
We believe that each religion lived out by individuals or an organization has the right to peacefully present its view of theology, people, and the hereafter.
VI.
All National and religious entities have the right to proclaim their religious beliefs and to debate them in any open forum without violence.
VII.
We recognize the individual's right to believe in the religion of their choice.
VIII.
Men and women everywhere have the God given right to convert or not to convert to any religion without harm from any other religion or national politic.
IX.
We agree that no opposing religion or nation has the right to interfere in the religious service of another.
X.
The individual has the right to debate the facts about his or her religion without fear of reprisal.
XI.
Every individual has the right to hear and to be heard. A citizen of the world has the right to know the facts about their religious beliefs and have access to their holy books.
XII.
Every person no matter what religion, race, or nationality has the right to live at peace with their neighbor no matter what their faith.
XIII.
Each individual from any religion has the right to listen to another individual.
XIV.
No one has the right to interfere or disrupt a religious service.
XV.
Every seeker has the right to enter a religious service for their own exploration of knowledge.
XVI.
They all want others to know what they know.
XVII.
We, therefore, assert that all people have a divine right to share what they know and to live at peace with the results
