Mar 2:28 إِذاً ابْنُ الإِنْسَانِ هُوَ رَبُّ السَّبْتِ أَيْضاً».
يقول بروس بارتون
عندما قال يسوع انه رب السبت اعلن انه كان اكبر من الناموس وفوق هذا الناموس وعند الفريسين كانت بدعه , انهم لم يدركوا ان يسوع هو الابن الالهى لله , كان ايضاً خالق السبت, الخالق دائماً اكبر من الخلق وهكذا كان يسوع لديه القدرة على التغلب على تقاليدهم وانظمتهم [1]
ويقول ايضاً ماك ارثر
” رب السبت ” ادعى يسوع انه كان اكبر من السبت وبالتالى كان الله واستناداً الى تلك السلطه , يمكن ان يسوع يرفض قوانين الفريسين في السبت واستعاده الهدف الاصلي لله في اختياره للسبت ان يكون نعمه وليس عبئاً [2]
كما يري ايضاً كينيث ويست ( مجملاً )
ان كلمه الرب (κυριο) استخدمت في السبعينه كترجمه لاسم الله العظيم ” يهوة ” وان الخالق هو رب الخلق وان رب السبت قد جاء الي البشريه [3]
ونقرأ في العهد القديم ايضاً
Exo 20:10 وَامَّا الْيَوْمُ السَّابِعُ فَفِيهِ سَبْتٌ لِلرَّبِّ الَهِكَ. لا تَصْنَعْ عَمَلا مَا انْتَ وَابْنُكَ وَابْنَتُكَ وَعَبْدُكَ وَامَتُكَ وَبَهِيمَتُكَ وَنَزِيلُكَ الَّذِي دَاخِلَ ابْوَابِكَ –

فالمسيح هو رب هذا السبت وهو خالق السبت واعلى من السبت وبتواضعه جاء الينا
