أو يطة : السهل. مدينة في جبل يهوذا (يش 15 :55)، مدينة كهنوتية (يش 21 :16) هي اليوم : يطة. تبعد 9 كلم إلى الجنوب من حبرون. هناك شراح يرون أن مدينة يهوذا التي وُلد فيها يوحنا المعمدان (لو 1 :39) هي يوطة العهد القديم. ويبدو ان هناك لبسا بالحروف. يهوذا يطة.
