سواتانيوس: سواتانيوس
أو كايوس سواتانيوس (69-128؟). وُلد في أوستيا (ايطاليا) أو هيبونة (افريقيا الشمالية). هو مؤرِّخ لاتيني. كان أمين سرّ الامبراطور هدريانس. ولما عُزل، تكرّس لمؤلفاته، فدوّن "حياة 12 قيصرًا"، وهو كتاب ملأه بالاخبار الشيقّة حول الاباطرة. أما مؤلّفه "الرجال العظام" فلم يبقَ منه إلاّ قسم قليل.
